“Nobel-Prize Laureate John Nash Visit to FGV EPGE in 2014”

EPGE hosted Nobel Prize Laureate John Nash and several other top economists in the “Workshop on Game Theory” on August, 2014.

Organization and opening remarks were made by the FGV EPGE Dean, Rubens Penha Cysne; FGV EPGE Vice-Dean Aloisio Araujo; FGV EPGE Professor Humberto Moreira and the president of Ipea, Sergei Suarez Dillon Soares. Participants in the seminar included the president of Getulio Vargas Foundation, Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal; the advisor, Lindolpho de Carvalho Dias; Professor Abraham Neyman; Professor David Perez Castrillo; Professor Inés Macho Stadier; Professor Leandro Gorno; Professor Marcelo Neri; the former Minister of Finance, Marcílio Marques Moreira; Professor Marilda Sotomayor; Professor Myrna Wooders; Professor Mauricio Bugarin; the founders of the National Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics (IMPA), Maurício Peixoto; the Consul General of Germany, Harald Klein; the Consul General of the United States, John S. Creamer.
