The EPGE - Brazilian School of Economics and Finance promoted on 26th September the lecture "The current Brazilian reality and the immensity of the problem" and received, in the auditorium Eng M. F. Thompson Motta, former Minister of State and Justice and Senator Bernardo Cabral. Currently he holds the position of President Consultant of the National Confederation of Commerce, was Rapporteur-General of the National Constituent Assembly (1987/1988) and held the position of President of the Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil (1981/1983). Accredited with extensive experience in public life, he approached how the political and economic situation of the country can affect the internal and external confidence and reinforced the importance of implementing significant changes necessary to the whole nation.

After the welcome made by the Director of EPGE, Professor Rubens Penha Cysne, were present along the lecture, the President of FGV Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal, Vice President Sergio Quintella, Minister Ernane Galvêas, Chief Economist of the National Confederation of Commerce, Carlos Thadeu de Freitas Gomes, the Advisor of FGV, Luiz Chor and professors of EPGE, Luis Braido and André Vilella.
