On August 16th, the seminar “Seminar on Economic Growth” took place, an event in honor of Professor Roberto Castello Branco’s 80th birthday. During the seminar, held by FGV EPGE, in the Engenheiro M.F. Thompson Motta auditorium, the various guests discussed Castello Branco’s contributions to economic growth.
The opening panel was attended by the Director of PGE, Professor Rubens Penha Cysne, the Vice-President of FGV, José Júlio Senna, head of the Center for Monetary Studies at FGV/Ibre, Lauro Cotta, CEO of Supergasbras (2000-2014) and Consultant to the Presidency of Petrobras (2019-2021), Professor Rafael Chaves, Coordinator of the Professional Master's Degree in Economics and Finance at FGV EPGE and the honoree Roberto Castello Branco. The "Discussion Panel: Presentation and debate on economic growth" was attended by FGV EPGE professors Pedro Cavalcanti Ferreira and Fernando Veloso, Coordinator of the Regis Bonelli Productivity Observatory at FGV IBRE.
