EPGE welcomes students to the Master’s and Doctorate Programs

On the first day of Doctoral and Master's in Economics freshman class. FGV/EPGE - Brazilian School of Economics and Finance received the new students with presentations of Education Director Professor Carlos Eugenio Ellery, the Computer Center Coordinator, Bruno Nascimento and representatives of the academic secretary, Cláudio Andrade and Andrea Machado.

Carlos Eugenio talked about the course and the challenges they will pass in these coming years. Ellery showed what he expect for the course, calling for cooperation among the students for a better development of the class. The teacher recalled the example of the Nobel Prize in Economics, American Paul Anthony Samuelson when he said that when creating the MIT economics department did not expect him to be the best in the world, but only that it was a department where people could be happy.

Shortly after the presentation of the Education Department, Bruno Nascimento presented the Computer Center and the various facilities offered to students, such as Wiki and others softwares. The closure presentation was due to Andrea and Claudio, who presented the overall operation of this department to support students.
