The Sociedade das Artes and the Student League of Intellectual Property of FGV promoted the seminar “Economy of the arts and the Creative Industry”.

The first block of the event focused on the vision of artists and lawyers about the music market in Brazil, fostering the debate on the protection of artistic works by copyright. The second block, on the other hand, was composed of the vision of Economics and Technology on the subject. In this block, the topic addressed was focused on the business model of the music industry, from aggregators, distributors and streaming platforms to the use of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) for the commercialization of works of art.

The opening was performed by the Director of EPGE, Professor Rubens Penha Cysne and the moderation was in charge of the President of the Sociedade das Artes, Professor Valdemar Neto.
