FGV EPGE holds Commencement for graduate programs and Joaquim Levy delivers Commencement speech

FGV EPGE – Brazilian School of Economics and Financeheld, on 6 September, the Commencement of the Academic Master’s and Doctorate in Economics and Professional Master’s programs.

Prof. Rubens Cysne led the event, along with Prof. Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal and professors Carlos Eugenio Ellery da Costa and Ricardo de Oliveira Cavalcanti. Dr. Joaquim Ferreira Levy, Chief Strategy Officer, Bram - Bradesco Asset Management, was specially invited to deliver the Commencement speech.

Professor Levy emphasized that the students’ achievement not only provides self-satisfaction but also makes them able to pay attention to values which cannot be forsaken. At the end of his speech, Dr. Levy affirmed to be very happy and proud to speak at the Commencement of people well prepared and able to understand what consequences their decisions may bring to others.

Students representatives were also able to deliver their speeches: Rafael de Vasconcelos Xavier Ferreira, representing Doctorate; Vinicius Silvestrin Pantoja, representing Master’s and André Luiz  Mofato, representing Professional Master’s.  After their speech, symbolic diplomas were handled to the new Masters and Doctors.

Dr. Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal closed the ceremony, after which a cocktail was served to the new Masters and Doctors and to their families, as part of the celebrations for their achievement.
